September 10 - Morning

Monday Morning – 9/10

Good Morning, Lord!

I am baptized

For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Gal. 3:27 ESV)

Make the sign of the cross as you say, “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”

Thank You For A New Day!

O Lord, as I wake up today, I breathe the air You created. I see the light that You made. I hear with the ears You blessed me with. Thank You for giving me this body so that I may live as Your child in this world. Please bless this day, and let my life bring You glory for Jesus’ sake. Amen.

I Believe …

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the
virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He
descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge
the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the
forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Memory Verse

[There is …] one Lord, one faith, one Baptism. – Ephesians 4:5

Prayer

Pray about school, safety, and your personal conduct and witness.
Dear Lord, thank You for creating me so that I can grow and learn. As I go to school today I pray for my classmates and all the people that will be there today. Please keep us all safe, help us all learn, and help us grow into the people You intend us to be. Lord, let me behave in such a way that it shows my faith and trust in You, and whenever You give me the opportunity to share Your love with others, help me to do it well. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven;
give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those
who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom
and the power and the glory
forever and ever. Amen.

Benediction

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Eph. 3:20-21 ESV)
